Based in Chorley, UK. Azura Engineering specializes in automotive engineering, hardware, software and testing. Our purpose built facility includes design, testing and assembly capabilities.
Founded in 2011 following a management buyout, Azura Engineering was established to provide continuous support to our valued customers. Our expertise in in-house software, electronics, and manufacturing services enables us to deliver comprehensive solutions tailored to meet all customer needs.
Since our establishment, we have proudly become a Tier 1 supplier to Ford and a trusted partner of Bosch Rexroth. Additionally, we collaborate with numerous other esteemed companies across the UK and Europe.

Touchscreen
At Azura Engineering, we specialize in creating bespoke touchscreen modules for our automotive customers, where usability, speed, resilience, and bootup time are critical. Our expertise in vehicle networks allows us to integrate with CAN and LIN networks, as well as mobile apps.
We recently developed the Camper Touchscreen in partnership with Ford for the Transit-based Nugget campervan. This product has since been adopted by other camper manufacturers.
The Camper Touchscreen integrates essential features for temperature control, RGB lighting, and CIBUS vehicle management, providing a seamless and user-friendly interface.
We have also developed solutions for our utility and last-mile delivery customers.
Our in-house mobile development team can provide iOS and Android apps to complement the Touchscreen via Bluetooth.

Vehicle network integration solutions
Azura Engineering excels in all aspects of vehicle networks, including CAN, J1939, LIN, and CIBUS, as well as remote diagnostics and telematics.
With over 20 years of experience working with industry leaders such as Vector, Ford, Bosch, Aston Martin, Bentley, and many others, we have developed robust solutions for our customers and in-house projects.
We have worked on all types of vehicles from mass production to one off prototypes, including off highway, trains and marine.
Intelligent battery protection
With over 50,000 battery protection modules installed, we excel in delivering power to up-fitter PTO equipment while preventing over-discharge and reducing battery warranty claims.
Our product range includes resettable fused outputs to accommodate complex vehicle conversions, protecting up to three batteries.
We are now collaborating with our customers to develop the next generation of EV vehicles, transitioning from 12V systems to high-voltage (400/800V) systems.
End to end design, validation and production
We are pleased to announce the addition of in-house final assembly and production capabilities, enabling us to offer a comprehensive end-to-end design, testing, and production service.
With access to a network of global partners, including experts in PCB manufacturing and plastic injection moulding, our in-house CAD team can transform your concept into a reality, regardless of complexity or scale.
